About the club

Welcome to The Co-op Club.

Our club is a family friendly member’s bar which is over 50 years old. The club was originally for the staff of the Co-Op but was taken over by members in 2011.

At the club we have lots on offer including a warm welcome for you and your family, Live music most weekends, a pool table, Snooker room and darts boards. We also have sports leagues for Pool, darts and dominoes.

The members bar can be hired for the use of Funeral reception/wake for a small cost although we do insist that the catering is done by the club.

The members bar holds up to 175 people standing.

Function Rooms

At The Co-op Club we also have two Function halls as well as our Members bar.

The Ascot Room has a wooden floor great for dancing and holds up to 180 people standing and 140 people seated. This room is perfect for Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Christenings, Holy Communions etc

Unfortunately we do not hold parties for 13 – 21 year olds.

The Ascot comes with a full working bar and accepts cash or card.

The Ascot Room has a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities in addition to the Ladies and Gents which are accessible for both Ascot and Lounge.

* Please note that we do not offer the bar for Children's parties.*

The Lounge

The Lounge is our smaller carpeted hall. This room holds up to 75 people standing and 50 seated . This hall does not have a working bar.

This hall is perfect for small children’s birthday parties, Conferences and other small functions.
